I’m still at CBC and am becoming quite a TV authority

Dear Tom and Joan,

A few lines to let you know I am still alive. I am also very well and trust you are same at home. I am still at CBC and am becoming quite a TV authority, and I might add getting a few more bucks. In about a year CBC will be telecasting in colour. Which will be very exciting for graphics and will create an entirely new dimension in graphic design. 

But alas I will not be here! I am going to Mexico to live. I was down there this year for six weeks in April & May with Hans. I sent you a card I hope you got it.

Hans & I are going to live in a beautiful tropical paradise called Puerto Vallarta for a year and do nothing but lay on the beach and paint. We will have enough money to live comfortably for a year without working for a living. Puerto Vallarta is an Avant Garde resort on a beautiful bay looking out on the Pacific. This year I was in Mexico city, Taco & Acapulco. I will have to send you some photographs of me basking in the tropical sun under the banana trees! As the saying goes it’s a great life you don’t weaken!!
